Wait, sorry to double post! I see that I made a mistake. In your code I saw that the width is set to 1920px (makes total sense!), so the logical ratio would be to divide by 19.2 to convert px units to vw units. :nerd: my bad

Hello! I saw your message on melonland forum (I follow the forum on RSS but I am not a member; so I decide to post my idea here) The arrangement of the index page can scale with browser size if you change the px units to vw units! (This is just one of many ways you could do it; I think it's worth a try!) So, for example, on the catshrine.png you could change the margin-left 1460px to 85.4vw and I think it would end up in the same place, only now it scales with browser size! I believe that's the ratio (as far as I can tell); divide the px units by 17.1 for vw units i hope it might help at least a little!

Hey, thanks for the advice! while this particular iteration didn't work, switching to percentages and including a container that fits the screen size did work!

Super cool website. I really like the texture of it, like everything's been pressed together by fingers instead of typed out through code. Super cool cats too. Fruit Fly sounds like a really interesting book so I'll have to check it out!

It's equal parts fingers and code!! But that handmade feeling is important to me, I'm glad you're enjoying it here!

I might just be dumb but having an account doesn't seem to have changed any functionality, I still need to input my name and whatnot.... Anyways, enough cluttering your guestbook, have a nice day!

I think maybe only I can do it since it's my guestbook. Will look in into something.

Sorry lol figuring out what your different socials were over the years was just a bit of digital archeology. I wasn't quite sure this was you until you used your artwitt account to reblog the pensacola pilot. I really respect your writing (Zistopia in particular... maybe even a little too much) And I hope your pensacola project succeeds. I'll try and signal boost it a bit where I can. And sorry about the new message each time, it doesn't seem like I can reply to your replies(?)

Replied on: July 31, 2026 at 6:11:05 PM

I mean it's not like a huge secret or anything. I just liked to separate my interests out because it makes it easier for people to find things without one blog becoming fandom soup. Also I think to reply to replies you have to make an atabook account.
