I pledged 100 to the Pensacola pilot! Really hoping it ends up making it. By the way, stupid follow-up question to earlier. Your tumblr accounts were artwitt and nicolaswildes, right? You also did doctrine of gnorf?

Hello, thank you so much for your support! Yes, those are indeed some of my older works. I'm actually working on migrating Gnorf over from my old website to this one, along with creator commentary and unfinished chapters and artwork that I had to scrap. As it stands one of the big reasons I couldn't continue Gnorf was that the fantasy world I had imagined in 2019-2020 is looking too close to reality now, history just moved faster than I could have seen coming and I don't think people would find any comfort in reading that story in today's world. Maybe once the AI foe is vanquished. Zistopia however was kind of on the nose in a more resonant way. History is just like that I guess. There are things I love about both works, also things I wish I had done better but was not good enough of an artist at the time to do. That said I do not wish to be judged based on the flaws of my older works, as I am constantly looking to better my storytelling. Pensacola is a little different because rather than focusing on larger worldbuilding it is more a celebration of childhood, friendship and the phase of exploration and rebellion that many kids go through, along with the ways that kids lean on each other when adults fail them. I don't know if this is something that the audiences of Zistopia and Gnorf would be interested in. Or maybe they would be! Thank you again for supporting Pensacola, it means the world to me! I should probably figure out a Q&A feature for the site, since I'm getting questions on here.

I must ask, in case I'm mixing things up, is Pensacola YOUR project?

Replied on: July 19, 2026 at 10:36:41 PM

Yes, this is true. But Neocities is kind of my special happy place hobby world where I don't like to self-promote or talk about work related things. Advertising on here feels almost like pollution. But that said it is a project I am extremely passionate about that means a lot to me. All I can really do is market and grind on Instagram for the next 26 days and hope that there is an audience for it.

The clay charms on your landing page remind me of a specific summer night in Philly, 2009. More things were made of clay back then, I feel like. Maybe more things should be made of clay now?

LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about this website. Much like you, I am an organization of one (my company). Pretending I have employees usually helps if I ever feel lonely. Excited to see your future work. GREENSKIN CEO APPROVED :tu:
